About Me

I'm a freelance artist, designer and demonstrator and have been involved in arts and craft my whole life in one way or another. I design stamps for top British company Personal Impressions, under the "Lindsay Mason Designs" brand, as well as papers, templates and other crafting products. I'm a certified Ranger Educator and my first book,"Stamping", was published in 2009. I also design regular projects for Crafts Beautiful magazine and have made guest appearances from time to time on QVC. I've recently joined You Tube under the name of LindsayMason1000 where I'm posting short technique videos and you can buy my paintings and hand crafted pieces from my Etsy shop. My work takes me all around the country demonstrating stamping, papercrafts and general inkiness! When I'm not working, I love gardening, church & community activities, nature watching, journalling, music and theatre and just relaxing at home. Email me at: ljm.design1@virginmedia.com

Stitches begins!

Hello all, from the hotel in Birmingham. I only have thirty minutes access on here, so am having to type very quickly....scuse errors! Anyway, it's been a mad day, helping to set up the Personal Impressions stand, spending three hours at the Ranger workshop and catching up with people. Just had a lovely meal and will be off to bed soon. Here are some of the PI gang including Rachel Greig, Jan, Monica and me at the laptop! Here are a few pics from today, but I'll skim through what they are or my time will run out! Here's a view of part of my demo stand...in the background you can see some of the new stamp designs and there are some of my cards at the side. Here is the view of the PI stand as it looks for most of the day before the show starts....doesn't look like it will ever come together, but it always does! Here is a pic of Elaine, Amy, Dyan, Dot and myself at the end of our Ranger workshop. We made three canvasses in three hours! Next is a shot at the other end of my demo area which shows a view of the display which I had so much help from Chris,Elaine, Gez, Joanne, Kathy & Sheila in making. Thank you ladies & I will post more piccies tomorrow. Everyone was really impressed though so be pleased with your efforts! Right, better post this as it expires in five mins!!! So check back tomorrow for more pics! Lindsay

Looks great Lindsay. Is there any way of enlarging the pics for a closer view? Hope all are having a good time.

Looks fabulous! Christina has already posted pics of the canvasses she and Carolyn made (during the morning workshop) on the AMOM website - plus pics of the pair of them with Tim. I'm sooooo jealous!
Look forward to seeing what you get up to tomorrow. Enjoy! xx

Looks like your having an ace time, Lindsay can I just mention that when I click on pics on your blog they don't go bigger like they do on most blogs, so I can never fully appreciate them, don't lnow why this is as I'm not techno, would love to see the pics in bigger, lol

OK. Angie, I will try again, the problem is with certain blogs that have an HTML. problem. Ideally, one should be able to clck on a blog photo and it automatically enlarges, some (as this one),have lost their HTML. setting and the only other way to rectify this nuisance, is to close the blog and open a new one, which would be a *bind. So, once more, right click on the desired photo a window appears and the first instruction is VIEW IMAGE. Click this and the image opens in a new page. Scroll to the top of the page and click on *tools. This opens a window that includes *zoom in, zoom out. Click on *zoom in and the picture will enlarge. Each time you click on *zoom in, thephoto enlarges further. Hope that is clear! David.
