About Me

I'm a freelance artist, designer and demonstrator and have been involved in arts and craft my whole life in one way or another. I design stamps for top British company Personal Impressions, under the "Lindsay Mason Designs" brand, as well as papers, templates and other crafting products. I'm a certified Ranger Educator and my first book,"Stamping", was published in 2009. I also design regular projects for Crafts Beautiful magazine and have made guest appearances from time to time on QVC. I've recently joined You Tube under the name of LindsayMason1000 where I'm posting short technique videos and you can buy my paintings and hand crafted pieces from my Etsy shop. My work takes me all around the country demonstrating stamping, papercrafts and general inkiness! When I'm not working, I love gardening, church & community activities, nature watching, journalling, music and theatre and just relaxing at home. Email me at: ljm.design1@virginmedia.com

A sweet reminder...

...don't forget that my Blog Candy ends this weekend, so if you haven't already left a comment there are just a couple of days to do so to be in with a chance to win. You can see details of the candy on the sidebar to the left. David will draw the winner's name on Monday, so, if you don't win, you know who to shout at!
Well, I've been drawing all day and tired my eyes a bit now, so am going to relax for the rest of the evening now ahead of the busy weekend at Topaz. Looking forward to sharing some techniques with everyone and bring ATC's if you'd like to swap...I don't have oodles of them at the moment, but I know there will be other keen swappers there too. Hope to see you there, but have a great weekend whatever you are up to. Lindsay

Unfortunately I can't get to Topaz at the weekend - wish I could but during the cricket season I have to watch my son play(and ferry him around of course). I did meet you a couple of times ... probably also a couple of years ago now ... at The Range in Wigan where you were demonstrating. Got lots of inspsiration from you too and have you to thank for introducing me to Glamour Dust.
Thanks, Lynn x

Hi Lindsay
My daughter and I both enjoyed your Fairy Door and Mirror workshops and would recommend them to anyone who wants to have a go at sonething different. I am hooked on Ranger products now especially the distress inks which I can use as watercolours.
I loved the card made with the grungeboard heart covered with a book page and the distressed.
Hope to see you soon Melanie
