About Me

I'm a freelance artist, designer and demonstrator and have been involved in arts and craft my whole life in one way or another. I design stamps for top British company Personal Impressions, under the "Lindsay Mason Designs" brand, as well as papers, templates and other crafting products. I'm a certified Ranger Educator and my first book,"Stamping", was published in 2009. I also design regular projects for Crafts Beautiful magazine and have made guest appearances from time to time on QVC. I've recently joined You Tube under the name of LindsayMason1000 where I'm posting short technique videos and you can buy my paintings and hand crafted pieces from my Etsy shop. My work takes me all around the country demonstrating stamping, papercrafts and general inkiness! When I'm not working, I love gardening, church & community activities, nature watching, journalling, music and theatre and just relaxing at home. Email me at: ljm.design1@virginmedia.com

Thank you Artyjen

Artyjen kindly included me in this cute Circle of Friends award - very elegant ladies aren't they, although they look mischievous to me too! I alwaysfind the passing on part of these difficult, as choosing five people means you miss out lots of others....so please feel included even if you aren't on my "hit list" of five! Here goes then....Sarah, who is a warm hearted friend, Hazel who is supportive and brave, Joanne who is a kindred spirit, Doodles who makes me smile and Paul B who has a great sense of humour and a great talent. (Yes I know that they are all ladies in the picture but what the heck!)
I'm all packed and ready to go down to Horley tomorrow, going through the London underground which is never my favourite thing to do....I always think I'll get lost but never have so far! (Fingers crossed!). I'm taking my camera, so hope to have some good pictures to show you next week. I am still furious about being ripped off by Virgin trains last week for a second ticket and, despite all my best attempts, they will not give me any kind of refund. Nice.
Hope to see some of you on saturday or Sunday...do say hello if you are coming along, so I can put faces to names. Have a great weekend everyone, Lindsay

Aww thanks for the award Lindsay. You're such a sweet generous gal :) Have a great weekend in Horley. And BTW I am sooo the central figure in red. Strappy backless numbers and high heels are so now haha - not sure about the hat though. Looks a bit country bumpkin esque :D
